At this nonprofit, our funding landscape was unlike the traditional charity model. While personal donations played a part, our lifeblood flowed from major industry clients and academic institutions. With a modest budget, our presence at conventions became our stage for impact.

Enter the ADA Scientific Sessions – the pinnacle event in the diabetes sphere. Our mission? To leave an indelible mark, enticing leads for our business development team to pursue, all while playing by the rules of convention engagement.

I orchestrated a visual symphony with bold banners, each stroke highlighting our flagship programs and compelling statistics. For our prospects, I crafted small booklets as souvenirs, guiding them to specific landing pages on our website. Behind the scenes, custom forms and CRM integrations worked in harmony, meticulously organizing leads and sparking the conversations that mattered most.

Prospects were sent automated emails from our CRM that would help funnel them to the appropriate leader for follow up on their specific needs.

In addition, I created templates and illustration elements for our research teams, adhering to strict guidelines for scientific posters, to shine during the ‘poster sessions,’ ensuring that every breakthrough and innovation captured the spotlight it deserved. It’s not just about making noise; it’s about crafting meaningful connections and illuminating the path toward progress in the diabetes landscape.
